HCCH's Kupuna Kukakuka Workshop 2018

 

 

Aloha All Association of Hawaiian Civic Club Members,
 
Sharing with each of you a video taped copy of the HCCH's Kupuna Kukakuka Workshop held on March 3, 2018. 
Mahalo to the students of St. Francis High School's Video Class and their Instructor Ryan Ragus for video taping 
this wonderful event.

We are very grateful to the Office of Hawaiian Affair's Kuhio Lewis, Director of Community Relations, Kamehameha 
Schools Kau'i Burgess, Communications Director and Jamie Fong, Director of Kaʻiwakīloumoku Hawaiian Cultural 
Center, for their support and sponsorship of this educational, live testimony and informative event.

We send a  "BIG MAHALO TO OUR LIVING TREASURES"  Aunties Bobbee Mills Dias (95), Gladys Rodenhurst (92), 
Ann Nathaniel (90), Jalna Keala (86) and Uncle Albert Silva (90) for making themselves available to share their history 
and involvement in the Hawaiian Civic Club movement over the past 50+ years.  What a wonderful and inspirational 
presentation by all of you.

And Mahalo to our members Julian Keikilani Ako and Pohai Ryan for facilitating and moderating the event and 
the HCCH members for their kokua.  Also to Jacob Aki for sharing the opening Oli and Toni Lee's family member
for providing the light lunch.

Mahalo To All for a Job Well Done! Your kokua helped to make this event a "Great Success"!
