2018 Club Report

 

Delegates from 'Ahahui 'o Lili'uokalani Hawaiian Civic Club of Southern California attended the 58th Annual Convention, October 29-November 5, 2017, in Seattle Washington.

 

The 'Ahahui holds quarterly business meetings.

 

The 'Ahahui sends delegates to the Mainland Council of the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs quarterly meetings.

 

The 'Ahahui is a member of the Hawaiian Inter-club Council of Southern California, and participated in its annual Ho'olaule'a, at Alondra Park, Lawndale, California, July 21, 22, 2018.

 

The Kui ka lono, "Spreading the News", the 'Ahahui newsletter, is used to inform its members of upcoming activities.

 

The 'Ahahui continues to support Native Hawaiian community activities.

 

Two academic scholarships have been given to deserving Native Hawaiian students.
