2018 Club Report

Aloha mai kākou,

The Hoʻolehua Hawaiian Civic Club was chartered in 1972.  Our primary purpose is to provide scholarships to students seeking higher education.  We participated in the Maui Civic Club Council’s first Convention in September.  We were very happy with how it went, and look forward to the second one next year!

Our club had the same committed president for as long as we can remember, Aunty Edwina Coccolidus.  For health reasons, Aunty Edwina has no longer been able to lead us and this past June, our club went through some restructuring and elected Keani Rawlins-Fernandez its new president.  The goal in this next year is to rebuild and recruit for a stronger club going into 2019.

We hope everyone has a great Annual Convention this year!

Ke aloha nui,

Keani Rawlins-Fernandez

President
