Na Hono A'o Pi'ilani - Maui Council Report 2013

Aloha Mai Kakou,

We would like to send a mahalo nui to the Kaua'i Council for hosting this year’s convention. We are looking forward to visiting you all there on Kauai island. The Maui Council was able to have three meetings this year and we will have our 4th during convention. Our 3rd meeting was held on the island of Maui. All (but one) of our clubs were represented there. We were hosted by the Ritz Carlton Kapalua with a wonderful private meeting room and a delightful lunch buffet presented for us during our meeting. We were then given a walking tour of the property by the top sales person. It is hoped that the Association could possibly use the Ritz Carlton Kapalua for one of our upcoming conventions. It was a delight to have our council meeting on Maui and we will continue to do this yearly. All of our clubs (Central Maui, Ho'olehua, Lahaina, Kuini Pi'olani and Hulu Mamo) are continuing to work in our communities and in helping the causes of our people. Although the Maui Council Clubs are both geographical and thematic clubs (stretching its boundaries throughout the nation), the council regularly keeps in contact and is comfortable knowing that we are always on the same page.

Me Ke Aloha,
K. Holo‘aumoku Ralar,
