New Youth Civic Engagement Program Seeking Participants from Across the State for Internships and Training
Honolulu, HI—After a year of planning and technical training, three Hawaii-based community organizations are launching their civic engagement collaboration known as AIM HI- Hawaii. This youth civic engagement initiative seeks to engage a diverse group of young people whose communities are underrepresented in legislative decision-making and community development. The program is seeking participants, ages 16-25, interested in leadership and policy training that will help affect positive change in their communities. The program is led by the Pacific American Foundation in collaboration with the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) and the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs.
