Kalaniana‘ole Award
Outstanding Hawaiian Civic Club Member For Service to the Community At-Large
(updated 8/11/2026) The Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs seeks to recognize the special volunteer services and dedication of an outstanding Hawaiian Civic Club member who has supported and furthered the goals and objectives of the Hawaiian Civic Club movement by serving the community at-large for the previous calendar year.
- Only Hawaiian Civic Club members in good standing with the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs may be nominated for this award.
- Nomination form MUST be received NO LATER THAN 45 days prior to the Convention start date via the online application and MUST include 1 high resolution photo of nominee. NOTE: Late submissions will NOT be accepted.
- The winner of this prestigious award will be announced at the Annual AOHCC Convention.
Nominees of the Kalaniana‘ole Award will be judged on the following criteria:
- Demonstrated volunteer service(s) to the greater community at-large throughout the the previous calendar year.
- Active involvement and participation in Hawaiian Civic Club activities throughout the the previous calendar year.
- The nominee reflects Hawaiian values and demonstrates pride in being Hawaiian.
