ADOPTED RESOLUTIONS
Our advocacy work and civic engagement starts with our Hawaiian Civic Club members. Collectively, our nearly 4,000 members identify unmet needs in our communities and carry forward these needs to the Association with strategies to
correct or resolve problematic and inequitable conditions. In our annual convention, we establish position statements through the adoption of resolutions, and then our various committees act on this directive and kuleana: we urge legislation, policy amendments, implementation of new programs, or other changes aimed at improving the well-being of our community. Our resolutions also commend the work of those who have contributed significantly to our community, celebrate community milestones and achievements, and honor our members who have passed.
